At River of Life, we are committed to celebrating the continuing life of Jesus Christ through worship, service, and community engagement.
Okay, let's get real for a second. We believe in the Bible. Like, really believe in it. But we also believe it's meant to be understood, not just blindly followed. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died for our sins, and rose again. And we believe that's not just a nice story; it's the most powerful, life-altering truth in the universe.
We also believe in grace. Lots and lots of grace. Because let's face it, we all mess up. We all fall short. But the Living Christ offers us forgiveness, redemption, and a fresh start. Every. Single. Day. So, if you're carrying around a load of guilt and shame, come drop it at the foot of the cross. We promise, Jesus can handle it.
And finally, we believe in love. Radical, unconditional, over-the-top love. Love for God, love for each other, and even love for those people who drive you absolutely bonkers. Because that's what Jesus did. He loved the unlovable, forgave the unforgivable, and challenged the status quo. And that's what we're trying to do, too. (Although, we might need a little help with those bonkers-driving people...).
